Mrs. Mary Gough, 87, died at her home in Olla Wednesday after a lengthy illness.

Final rites will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at the Springhill Baptist Church in ward six, west of Kelly, with the Rev. W. A. (Dub) Massey, pastor of Urania Baptist church, in charge.

Burial will be in the Adams cemetery near Kelly under the direction of the Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Walter Jackson and Ms. Herb Taylor, both of Olla, and Mrs. Virgil Braunon of Houston, Texas; a son, Godfrey Gough of Quincy, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Alice Mixon of Olla; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Hansford H. Gough, a ward six planter, preceded her in death several years ago, as did a son, Lecky, who was killed at the Kelly Mo. Pacific Railroad crossing when the car which he was driving, was hit by a train.
