Mary Helen Deweese, 84, of Bowling Green, KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Bowling Green on November 28, 1930 to the late Lucian Gosser and the late Mattie Simpson Gosser Jones. Mary Helen was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Law, brother Darrell Jones and her husband of 37 years, Paul Deweese.
She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Wilson, sister Janice Hazel (Jim), Granddaughters; Melanie Cummings (Jeff), Julie Wilson and Jenny Wilson all of Bowling Green, 2 great grandsons Jacob and Cooper, step brother Jimmy Jones (Mary Lynn) of Louisville, several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Presley.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial to follow in Bowling Green Gardens.
