Ray was born May 2, 1949 in West Virginia to the late Raymond Ellsworth Gordon Sr. and the late Estie Carpenter Gordon.
Raymond was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, and served his country in Vietnam before being honorably discharged.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 2:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord officiated by Rev. Michael Greer. The burial will follow at the West Concord Cemetery at 331 Union Cemetery Rd SW, Concord.
