THE VILLAGES — Tracy Mae Gorden, 39, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009.
Ms. Gorden was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and moved from there to The Villages in 2003. She had been employed at Country Oaks Veterinary Clinic; was active in the Ovarian Cancer Support Group in The Villages; was a Guardian Ad Litem for Sumter County Children's Services; and an avid volleyball player and coach.
Survivors include her father, R. Bruce Gorden, The Villages; mother, Diane K. Gorden, The Villages; and sister, Cindy Buttke, Wisconsin Rapids.
Memorial donations may be made to Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Florida, 1855 West SR 434, Suite 282, Longwood, FL 32750, or ocal.org.
All Faiths Cremation Society, The Villages, is in charge of arrangements.
