She was born February 10, 1924, in Washington, a daughter of Guy and Anna Carroll Gorby.
Mrs. Dorsey was a graduate of Trinity High School.
She was employed as a packer at Hazel Atlas 2 Glass Factory, retiring after 22 years of service.
On March 1, 1963, she married Harry O. "Bud" Dorsey, who died June 26, 2008.
Surviving are two sisters, Edna V. Maiello of Washington and Aileen Lauther of Claysville; a daughter-in-law, Mary Gorby; and three grandchildren, Edna, Stephanie and Guy Gorby, all of Willingboro, N.J.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, are three brothers, Ronald Lee, George P. and Norman W. Gorby; a sister, Mary E. Burt; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Friday, February 28, in Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, Douglas M. Jones, director, with the Rev. Sue Petritis officiating. Interment will be private in Washington Cemetery.
