Jane E. Goodwin, 86, of Salem, died Monday, January 9, 1995. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Salem. She was retired from the City of Salem. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. (Bud) Goodwin. She is survived by a son, Jack Lee Goodwin; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Judy Goodwin, all of Salem; sister, Hazel Estes, Roanoke; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 12, 1995, at 12 noon at Sherwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Tom Joyce and the Rev. John Bennett officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Salem, or the Salem Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
