Age 72 of Newbury Rd., Rock Glen, died at home. She was the daughter of the late Frankin Willard and Beatrice Irene (Heidel) Phetterplace. She was a lifetime resident of Rock Glen and drove school bus for the Warsaw Central School Distict for over 25 years until her retirement in 1991. She worked at Wyo. Co. Comm. Hospital as a Nurses Aide for about ten years previous to driving school bus She was a member of the Rock Glen Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting, roller skating, crafts, gardening and spending time with her family and her many grandchildren. She was very active in the outdoors and spent time camping, hunting and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Goodenow, Sr., on February 12, 2003; 3 brothers, David M. Phetterplace, Frank Lyn Phetterplace snd Dean W. Phetterplace, and a sister Wilma Moffat. She is survived by 3 sons: Warren (Chris) Goodenow of Warsaw; Earl Jr. (Maureen) Goodenow of Portageville, and Bill (Shawn) Goodenow of Rock Glen; 3 daughters: Denise (Duane) Matteson of Rock Glen; Deborah (John) Welker of Phoenix, AZ; and Penny (Joseph) Kolativa of Phoenix, AZ; 2 sisters: Virginia Sargent of Kodiak, Alaska; and Donna Sage of Warsaw; 1 sister-in-law, Norma Baker of Silver Springs. Also 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchilden and multitude of nieces and nephews. Weeks Funeral Home handled arrangements.
