Funeral services for Virginia Gonzalez will be Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Heartland Funeral Chapel Early, Texas. Interment will follow at the Bangs Cemetery Bangs, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Heartland Funeral Home.
She was born November 24, 1953 to Sipiriano and Gabina Herrera Partida in Yoakum, Texas. She passed away Monday January 28, 2013 in Abilene, Texas. Virginia served as an educational aid with the Bangs ISD for many years. Virgina was married to Santiago Gonzalez August 19, 1981 in Fredericksburg, Texas. They have lived in Bangs since 1986. Her hobbies were sewing, crocheting, cooking and gardening. She was a member of the New Testament Holiness Church in Bangs, Texas.
Virginia is survived by her husband Santiago Gonzalez of Bangs, Texas, son Joseph Hernandez of Dallas, Texas, a daughter Angeline Fletcher of Pearl City, Hawaii. Two grandsons Adrian Salazar and Jossiah Gonzalez of Pearl City Hawaii. Her father Sipiriano Partida of Bangs, Texas.
Her sisters Rumalda Rivera of Fredericksburg, Texas, Hellen Olson of Denver Colorado, Lucy Perez of Bangs, Texas, and Patricia Gallander of Bangs, Texas. She is also survived by her brothers Frank Partida of Fredericksburg, Texas, John Partida of Lubbock, Texas, Jim Partida of Leming, Texas, Cipiriano Partida, Jr. of Brownwood, Texas, and Martin Partida of Austin, Texas.
Virginia is preceded in death by her mother Gabina Partida and a brother Robert Partida.
