"According to the Early California Population Project (ECPP), her baptism was at Mission Santa Cruz, #02313 [on] 10 Feb 1839. Her actual birth date is not stated."


She was married to Pedro Biscarra [Biscarro] on February 18, 1856 at Holy Cross Church, Santa Cruz, California

"Symptoms of Derangement"

"Mrs. Biscarro, widow of the late Peter Biscarro, who has resided in the hills about five miles east of town for a number of years, has for some time past has shown symptoms of insanity and of late has become violent at times. Thursday morning she was taken to Salinas and Judge Dorn yesterday appointed a commission to examine her as to her mental capacity. She has eight children, who are nearly all grown up."

"Death of Mrs. Tomasa Biscarro"

"Mrs. Tomasa Biscarro, relict of the late Pedro Biscarro, died Sunday [May 20 1906*] at Agnews, after a short illness. Deceased was a native of California, aged 64 years, and leaves a large family of grown-up sons and daughters. The funeral, which was attended by a large number of relatives and friends, took place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, from St. Theodore's Catholic Church, where mass was said by Rev. Father Waldron. The interment was in the Gonzales Cemetery. alongside the remains of her husband who passed away about six years ago. She leaves to mourn her departure hence, four daughters and four sons. They are: Mrs. M. Niland of San Francisco, Mrs. Wm. Bane of King City, Mrs James Slover of Modesto, Miss Eva Biscarro of San Francisco, Porfiro Biscarro of King City, Thomas and Dan Biscarro of Gonzales, and Peter Biscarro of Stockton."
