Jackie L. Applegate Gonzales, lover of books, was born May 30, 1955, in Tulsa, Okla. She passed away Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, from cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Josephine Applegate; and her daughter, Monica Gonzales.
She is survived by her children, Consuelo Gonzales and Virgil Gonzales, both of Bloomfield; two sons from a previous marriage, Chris Montoya and Dion Montoya, both of Farmington; and by six grandchildren.
Rosary will be at
9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 307 N. Church St. in Bloomfield, followed by the funeral Mass. Father Joe Walker will be celebrant.
Inurnment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery.
Jackie was a loving, caring mother, wife, aunt, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law and friend.
We were blessed with memories we will always remember.
