Jose "Joe" GONZALES of Pontiac died suddenly September 18, 2011 at 50 years of age. Loving husband of Irma Moran-Gonzales for 18 years; dearest father of David Wayne Woodbeck, Ines and Cruz Gonzales and the late Thalia; beloved brother of Simon (Olga), Mary, Cris (Mark) Bowker, Helen (Daniel) Alvarado, and Steve (Cindy). He also leaves behind his loving dog Chico and many dear nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Luis and Ines, and sisters Mona and Marcy and his dog Coby. Joe's biggest hobby was collecting and reading newspapers from all over the country. But most importantly he was the "friend of the friendless." Joe spent time helping the homeless through the Baldwin Center and Salvation Army.
Visitation : Thursday 2:00-6:00 PM. Interment Friday at Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.
