Betty A, Gómez, age 67, a lifelong resident of Santa Fé, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at her home with family by her side.
Betty born on January 29, 1943 in Rowe, NM to Antonia, and Filemon Archuleta. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Antonia and Filemon Archuleta, her brothers, Filemon "Sonny" Archuleta and Ramon Archuleta, her mother-in-law, Anne Gómez and sister-in-law, Virginia Sena.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Tomas, children, Thomas C. Gómez Jr. and his wife, Lisa, Yvonne Gómez and her husband, Steve, Yvette M. Gómez, John M. Gómez and his wife, Margo, Adrian P. Gómez and her husband, John, Jaclyn A. Gómez, grandchildren, Andrew Griego, Monique Gómez, Desiree Martínez, Crystal Griego, Michelle Gómez, Leslie Gómez, Celeste Gómez, Nicolas Gómez, Lauryn Gómez, Faith Gómez and Matthew Gómez, great-grandchildren, Isaiah Martínez, Lathan Coca and Olivia Coca, sisters, Louella Brito, Rita Archuleta and Esther Sánchez and her husband, Paul and by brother, Santana Archuleta and his wife, Vicky and sisters-in-laws, Franchesa Gómez and Angie Mares. Betty had many relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, friend, aunt, cousin, sister and grandma. Interment will be at Rosario Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Gómez Jr., John Gómez, Adrian Gómez, Andrew Griego, Santana Archuleta and Gene Brito. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nicolas, Matthew, Isaiah and Lathan.
