Harley was my Dad's older brother. We would go up to visit at the family farm and he was always there with a smile on his face glad to see us. He was a shy and quiet man with a winning smile. He left the family farm once to get a job in the city, but soon came home saying it was not for him. He loved to farm and was happy to be on the farm and working hard. At his funeral people said that no one ever had a bad word to say about Uncle Harley. He was one of the kindest most gentle men I have ever met. He never said a bad word about anyone. He was a hard worker and enjoyed being with his family and friends. He will be missed, always.
