Mrs. Alfred Dixon, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Gold, died at her home in Chicago 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon, and the remains will he brought to Sedalia tomorrow morning for burial.
Mrs. Dixon was born in Sedalia, where she grew to womanhood. Mr. Dixon was for several years a resident of Sedalia, and in his bereavement he will have the sympathy of his many friends here. - Sedalia Democrat - Wednesday, September 8, 1897 pg.1
