Retired Master Sergeant Archie A. Goins, 82, died March 4, 2013.
He was born August 27, 1930 in Spiro, OK to Euel Wesley and Mamie Alice (Bell) Goins.
Archie retired as Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service, and then retired from Rheem Manufacturing after 19 years.
He was a member of Miracle Power Tabernacle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene; and he was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Arvie and Harold Goins.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathy Horn and her husband John of Greenwood, AR; five sons. Duane Goins and his wife Nina of Fort Smith, James Goins of Norman, OK, Michael Goins and his wife Shandra of Duncan, OK, Bobby Goins of Fort Smith, David Goins and his wife Jerri Ann of Spiro, OK; two step-daughters, Linda Spencer of Vian, OK and Sherry Milligan and her husband Wesley of Tulsa, OK; one sister, Ola M. Waters of Fort Smith; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 7, 2013, in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in Fort Smith National Cemetery.
