Winnie Goff Boddie
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 31, at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Winnie Goff Boddie, 93, a former Bienville Parish school teacher and native of Arcadia.
Mrs. Boddie passed away, Sunday, December 29, at the Nurse Care Nursing Home in Shreveport.
Services were held in the Chapel at Conger's Funeral Home with the Rev. George Latimer, Minister of Central Christian Church of Shreveport officiating. Interment was at Sibley
Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband Van D. Boddie and granddaughter Anita Anders King.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Myrtis Anders of Shreveport; son in law, H.K. Anders of Shreveport; one grandson, Ken Anders of Atlanta, Georgia; two great grand daughters, Tracie King Churchard of Haverhill, Suffolk, England and Donna King Austin of Florida; one great great grandson, Thomas Spencer Austin of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ray Durbin, R.W. McCranie, Jr., Richard Loyd McCranie, James P. Stewart, Ken Anders and Zack R. Ford.
