Mr. James C. Goff, Sr., 61, of Lucedale, MS, passed away Monday, March 12, 2007 in Mobile, AL. He was born in Jackson County, MS on September 19, 1945 and lived there most of his life. He worked at Ingall's Shipbuilding in the maintenance department, and he was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Goff leaves loving memories to his wife Mary Lou Goff of Lucedale, MS; his mother Wanda Mae Goff of Wade, MS; his son James C. Goff, Jr. of Lucedale, MS; his daughters Tina (Jeff) Loris of Moss Point, MS and Patricia Cumbest of Atlanta, GA; his brother H.L. Goff of Wade, MS; his sisters Carol Ann (Ed) Sampson and Janene (Otis) Sheffield both of Wade, MS; grandchildren Derek Tisdale, Steven Loris, Jason Loris, Brittany Bertran Goff, McQuade Goff, Dustin Goff, Holly Cumbest, Haley Cumbest, Josh Sweeting, Elizabeth Sweeting, great grandchild Piper Claire Bertran, other relatves and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 15, 2007 from 12pm to 2pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa MS. Funeral Service will follow at 2pm in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Williams and Rev. Glen Nance officiating. Burial will be at Johnson Cemetery in Wade, MS. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home of Escatawpa, MS. Locally owned and operated.
