OBITUARY:

SACO -- Harlan B. Goff passed away on Feb. 15, 2011, at Seal Rock Healthcare facility in Saco.
Harlan was born on March 18, 1929, in Hollis Center. He was the son of Lester and Lillian Smith Goff.
Harlan met is wife Carolyn Usher while both were attending and later graduated from Hollis High School. They married in 1952.
Harlan graduated from the University of Maine in 1954 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He was in the U.S. Navy from 1954 until he received an Honorable Discharge in 1957.
Carolyn and Harlan moved to Kennebunk, while he worked at The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a Naval Architect, until his retirement.
Harlan and Carolyn built a cabin on Sebago Lake, where they made many friends and had good times living on Fletcher Street.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Vernon Goff. He is survived by his wife of Kennebunk; and many cousins and friends.
A graveyard service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 13, at Meetinghouse Cemetery, River Road, in Hollis. Dennett, Craig and Pate, 13 Portland Rd., are in charge of the arrangements.
