MARION - Dorothy "Dot" Godbold Bailey, 67, died Sunday in a Florence hospital. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Shiloh United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Richardson Miles Funeral Home, will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Marion County, a daughter of Waitus B. Godbold and Lola B. Perritt Godbold. She was a member of Shiloh Church.
Surviving are her husband, Dan W. Bailey; two sons, Danny W. Bailey Jr. of Pee Dee and R. F. "Skeeter" Bailey of Hartsville; three daughters, Diane B. Herring of Pee Dee, R. A. "Rooster" Elivington and Belle B. Ward, both of Marion; three brothers, Robert B. Godbold, Kenneth L. Godbold and Neil Godbold, all of Marion; three sisters, Rilla G. Messick of Florence, and Martha Godbold and Alice B. Godbold, both of Marion; and 8 grandchildren.
