Laurie peacefully passed away early Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003.
He was born Nov. 3, 1913 to Anthony H. Godbe and Ruby Clawson Godbe.
He is survived by one sister, Betty Godbe Walker, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Virginia Godbe McCleery, Margaret Godbe Warnock, and Hampton C. Godbe.
Laurie was a kind and gentle man, a gifted artist, painter and sculptor. He was also a genealogy buff.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hillside Manor for their many years of devoted care.
Private family services will be held. Funeral Directors: Deseret Memorial Mortuary.
