Gary L. Gober, 63, of Waco, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Gary was born in Waco to Clarence M. (Jack) Gober and Ruthie Faye Taylor. Gary attended Richfield High School. A talented mechanic, he worked for Lake Air Texaco, Thomas Automotive, and then at TXU Electric from 1979-2002.

Gary was married to the love of his life, Donna Faye Bolton, for 37 years. He enjoyed dirt bikes, race cars, camping, fishing, motorcycle riding, and spoiling his grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia Gober Franklin.

Gary is survived by his wife, Donna; son, Gabriel and wife Lori; daughter, Fonda Hailey and husband Marcus; grandsons, Gavyn Gober and Aiden Hailey; brother, Doug Gober of Fort Worth; step-mother, Annette Gober of Eugene, Oregon, and many friends and extended family.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pat Pryor and staff, Dr. Wayne Falcone and staff, and Providence CHF Clinic for their continued care and concern for Gary's health.
