Billie Bradshaw of Terrell, was called home early Saturday morning to be with her Lord. She was born June 25, 1918 and passed away Jan. 29, 2011.
Billie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to many. She was very active and loved to be outside. Billie loved to listen to music, she also was a member to a square dancing club called the Flat Footers, and she was the best square dancer in town. When the weekends would come you could find her all dressed up in her beautiful square dancing dresses ready to strut her stuff. Billie loved spending time with her family, and at the family gatherings she would be one that would make you laugh from telling her funny jokes, she always had a new joke to share. Billie was just so full of life and had a lot to offer.
Billie was preceded in death by her father Willie Don Gober, mother Minnie Ola Adams Gober, husband Charlie Bradshaw, son Olan Roy Bradshaw, sister Claira (Pat) Norris, and sister Mildred Davis.
Billie survived by her son Nolan and wife Peggy Bradshaw of Quinaln, sister Myrtle Horton of Mt. Pleasant, two God-sons Lynn Orr and Don Patterson, both of Terrell, seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Billie will be laid to rest at Nevill's Chapel Cemetery. The family will be accepting visitors on from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday Jan. 31, 2011 at Bate-Cooper-Sloan funeral home, 2805 S. Jefferson Mt.Pleasant. Grave site services will follow at 2 p.m at Nevill's Chapel Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Don Kearby officiating.
