Mrs. Morgan Derby Dies of Nosebleed
Bear Lake – Nov. 22. – Mrs. Morgan Derby died at her farm home in the old Mason school district southeast of town early last Saturday morning from a prolonged attack of nosebleed, or hemorrhages of the nose, caused by hardening of the arteries.
She had been afflicted with the trouble for some time but never seriously until Friday night, death coming at 2:00 o'clock the following morning.
Surviving her are her husband, one sister, Mrs. Thomas Evens of Marilla, two brothers, Roy Glover of Onekama and F.L. Glover of Pleasanton, three sons,
Roselle of Detroit, and Elmer and Virgil at home, and three daughters, Mrs. Retha Brown of Detroit, and Violet and Ethel who are at home.
The funeral service was held this afternoon at the Methodist church here with Rev. Nelson Hilborn officiating, and internment was in Pleasanton township cemetery.
