Grandma Cromwell a/k/a "Linnie Belle," was a very intelligent, beautiful woman who lived a very busy life. She graduated as a Chiropractor, but never opened her own practice. Instead, she chose to live her life working for the Lord while travelling with my Grandpa, James G. Cromwell, as he was an Evangelist. They had five children together. Grandma had a beautiful singing voice and was also pretty talented on the accordian. When I think of Grandma, I remember her always busy doing something. She liked to make jelly and homemade ice cream; her bisquits were out of this world!! She enjoyed making Barbie clothes for her grandchildren and coming up with her own designs. With 14 grandchildren and 8 of them being girls, she made a lot of Barbie clothes - the wedding dresses were our favorites! One of her hobbies was crocheting with embroidery thread and little needles. She made tablecloths, runners, collars and even snowflake ornaments! She could make anything she put her mind to. I'll always remember her whistling while she cleaned. (She was one of the cleanest people I've ever known!) One of her favorite little songs to sing to us was "Everyone should be a busy bee.." She could not be beat at Dominos. Anyone who knew her could never forget her little giggle when she got tickled over something and how she would tear up from laughing so hard! Grandma loved the Lord with all of her heart and she loved her family more than words could say. She left something special in each one of our hearts. I am privileged to say that this woman was my Grandmother. I will miss her forever.

Henbit...you said they looked like little bunny ears and you always put them in a glass of water on the window sill, no matter how many I picked for you.óż

Sure am missing you today, Grandma. I wish we could just sit and talk over a glass of sweet tea.
