Mrs. Willie Loree Brantley, 72
SWAINSBORO--Funeral service for Willie Loree Brantley, 72, was held Friday, May 23, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary. The Rev. Morris Brantley and the Rev. Herman Walden officiated. Burial was in the Gumlog Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Kite.
Mrs. Brantley died Wednesday, May 21, in Emanuel Medical Center after an extended illness.
She was a native of Emanuel County, a homemaker and a member of Holton Chapel Advent Christian Church. She was the wife of the late Melvin L. Brantley.
Survivors include three sisters, Shirley Ely of Dellwood, Wonnie Hutto of Neeses, S.C., and Itoni Blalock of Monks Corner, S.C.; two brothers, Franklin Glisson of Swainsboro and Tommy Glisson of Augusta.
Pallbearers were Larry Brantley, David Brantley, Johnny Way, Ricky Way, Glenn Way and Dustin Brantley.
Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
