Services for Mary Glenn, 82, of Archer City, were held at the First Christian Church with pastor, Jordan Gary and John McLarty, pastor of the First United Methodist church at Holliday officiating.
She married J.O. "Hoot" Glenn on 3 November 1933 at Waurika, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death.
She had lived in Archer City area until moving to the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandle in the mid-1960s. She lived in Canadian for 10 years before moving to Archer City in 1976.
Mrs. Glenn was in the nursing profession for most of her life. She had been employed as a nurse's aide in the Archer City Hospital and the Archer City nursing home.
She was a member of the First Christian Church at Archer City and the Women's Auxiiliary of the Ira Jones Post #198 of the American Legion at Archer City.
Survived by two daughters - Judy Glenn Nichols of Holliday and Barbara "Bobbie" Gibbs of Archer City; one son - Ross Glenn of Wichita Falls; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
