Donald Ray Glenn was born to Harvey and Bertha Glenn in Uvalde, Texas on May 20th, 1934. The family moved to Austin where he attended school and lived there until he was called home on January 28th, 2013.

Don is survived by his wife of 58 years, Billie Ann Lenz; children, Pamela Glenn Best and her husband, Edward Best, Michael Glenn and his wife, Grace Glenn, and DonAnne Glenn Williford and her husband, Greg Williford; grandchildren, Sarah Best Casey and her husband, Christian Casey, Jeffrey Glenn, Ross Glenn, and Graham Williford; sisters, Wyona Glenn Herrin and her husband, Wayne, and Peggy Glenn Guentzel; sisters-in-law, Betty Lenz Kubsch and her husband, Allen, and Sandra Lenz Slussler and her husband, Terry, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Don was preceded in death by his father and mother, Harvey and Bertha Glenn, sister, Evelyn Glenn Saul, and brother-in-law, Glen Guentzel.

In 1991, Don retired after 38 years with the Texas Employment Commission. He was a lifelong hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman, and loved to travel around the United States and Canada on "mission trips." One of his greatest joys came from being with his children and grandchildren and looked forward to family gatherings.

Don was a longtime member of the Koenig Lane Christian Church where he held a number of offices including deacon. Don always felt the call to be of service to others. He gave much of his time to the community, including the Star of Texas Credit Union and Hope Food Pantry. In the early years, Don served our country in the United States Navel Reserves.

Our special thanks to the staff at Heart Hospital of Austin and Dr. Steve Loeschen, Dr. Eric Tiblier, and Dr. John Sandbach.
