Mark was born August 19, 1955 in Fort Madison, IA, the son of Max Glassford and Charlotte Eads Biddenstadt. He married Randie Tinsley on March 16, 2000 in Keokuk, IA.
Mark was a graduate of Fort Madison High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked with Rutledge Youth Foundation and served the community for many years working with persons with disabilities. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, being with his family and playing with his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, William Biddenstadt.
He is survived by his wife, Randie Glassford of Springfield; three step-daughters, Liane (Jason) Fink of Quincy, Luane (Duane) Graber of Granger, IN and Christina (Billy) Smith of Carthage, IL; six grandchildren, Gavin and Chloe Fink, Brielle and Gage Graber and Zacharia and Riley Smith; two brothers, David (Karen) Johnson of Maryville, MO and Mike (Sherri) Biddenstadt of Keokuk, IA; and one niece, Daisy Johnson and two nephews, Dana Johnson and Anthony Biddenstadt.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
