Mrs. Sadie Gates, widow of John F. Gates, died at the home of her brother, James D. Glasgow at Glasgow, Pa., on Sunday morning at 3:15 o'clock, death being attributed to a complication incident to advanced age. She was born March 29th, 1853 and had resided in the Glasgow community most of her life. Surviving are these brothers and sisters: James D. and John T. Glasgow of Glasgow; Mrs. Malissa Keller of Juniata; Mrs. Caroline Irwin of Blandburg and Mrs. Emma Fry of Williamsburg. Funeral services were conducted at the Glasgow home on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Emory Stockslager and Rev. H. P. Light. Burial was made in the Pleasant Hill cemetery at Glasgow.
