RED LION David W. Glasgow, 97, formerly of Bellwood, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Pearl (Wiliamson) Glasgow, his wife of 52 years, and the late Bertha (Miller) Glasgow, his wife of 16 years.

Viewings will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Codorus Church of the Brethren, 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd., Dallastown, PA 17313 and on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Bellwood Church of the Brethren 1823 North Tuckahoe St. Bellwood. Celebration of Life Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Codorus Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Dr. Douglas C. Winward officiating, and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Bellwood Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Rod Thomas officiating.

Burial will be in Blair Memorial Park, Altoona.

Born December 4, 1914, in Reightown, he was the son of the late John Blair and Viola (Hostler) Glasgow.

David was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Bellwood where he lived for 92 years. He served as a Deacon in the church and taught Sunday School until he relocated to Red Lion, in 2006. He then worshipped at Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Fawn Grove with his family members. He also was an active member of Gideon's International from 2002 to present and delivered Meals on Wheels for 15 years in Bellwood. David retired from the PA Railroad and the United States Postal Service in Bellwood.

He is survived by two daughters, Judy Hyson and her husband, Don of Red Lion and Mona Kaye Yingling and her husband, Jack of Carlisle; two step-sons, Robert Miller of Tipton and Ren Miller and his wife, Betsy of N.J.; five grandchildren, Tammy (Hyson) Cobosco and husband, Len, Scott Yingling and wife, Ruth, Kelly (Yingling) Schmidt and her husband, Daniel, Renae (Hyson) Hodges and Perry Yingling and wife, Sue.; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dora Dolin of Gretna, Neb., Iva Pennington of Holidaysburg, and Phyllis Smith of Bellwood; and a sister-in-law, Isabel Glasgow of Bellwood. He was predeceased by a son: Charles Blair Glasgow; three brothers, Albert, John II, and Lee Glasgow; and two sisters, Dorothy Campbell and Bernice Glasgow.
