Died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 1983, at Dixon Memorial Hospital, Denham Springs. She was 78, a native of Brookhaven, Miss., and a resident of Walker. She was a housewife.

Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. H. B. Wilkinson, assisted by Dr. Brad Curry. Burial in Palmetto Cemetery, Walker.

Survived by three daughters, Doris Marie Glascock Boyer, Denham Springs, Dorothy Faye Glascock Staples, Walker, and Jacqueline Ann Glascock Wimberly, Saudi Arabia; a son, Herbert D. Glascock Jr., Walker; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Herbert D. Glascock Sr.; and two grandchildren, Shanna Lynn Wimberly and Glinda Glascock.

Pallbearers will be Terry and Dudley Boyer Jr., Steve Milton Jr., Billy Wimberly, Michael and Phillip Wascom. Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Thompson, Mike Gazzea, Al Milner and Nathan Desport.

She was a member of Walker Baptist Church and Masonic Star Chapter No. 108 OES.
