Her father was George Glascock born Missouri and her mother, Elizabeth (Brook) Glascock born Missouri. In 1851 they left Missouri in a wagon and settled on a farm near Woodland, Yolo County, California.

She married Edmund C. Brown 30 April 1868 Woodland, California.

1880 they were living Spring Creek, Colusa County, California.

She joined the Christian Church in California about 1883.

She returned to Harringnton from Marcus,WA suffering from a paralytic stroke, from which, for a time, she improved.
