OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - Tuesday, September 5, 1911
Mrs. Margaret Allison was called by the Grim Reaper this (Tuesday) morning about 11:30 after a long siege of suffering.
Mrs. Allison was afflicted with heart trouble, Bright's disease and a complication of other diseases and had been confined closely to her home since last December.
Mrs. Allison was born in March 1842, spent all her life in this county, residing for some time in the vicinity of Lagro. She leaves behind one brother, Samuel Gilpin, of Lagro; two step-sons, Warren and Willis Allison of this city; three step-daughters, Mrs. Jane Briggs, Mrs. Biola Hurley of Oklahoma, Mrs. John Enyeart of Wabash; two children, Samuel Allison of this city, who resided with his mother and Frank Allison who is now taking treatments for lung trouble at the state hospital at Rockville, Ind.
Mrs. Allison was a Christian woman in the best sense of the word, and was respected and loved by all who knew her.

FUNERAL NOTICE - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - Thursday, September 7, 1911
The funeral of the late Mrs. Margaret Allison who died Tuesday morning of Bright's disease and other complications after an illness extending from last December, was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from her residence on Lagro Pike. Reverend Erne of the Evangelical Church officated. Burial at Falls Cemetery.
