Helen J. Gilmore is the daughter of Robert Stanley Gilmore and Pearl Blanch Gilmore (nee Beers). She married Howard C. Allio.

Helen J. Allio, 88, of Allio Drive, Leeper, died Friday afternoon, March 14, 2003, at Beverly Healthcare-Shippenville.
Born Oct. 22, 1914, at Helen Furnace, she was a daughter of Robert and Pearl Beers Gilmore.
Mrs. Allio graduated from Farmington High School in 1933.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She was married Dec. 3, 1935, at Greenwood Church in North Pine Grove to Howard C. Allio, who preceded her in death June 9, 1977. Surviving are six sons and their wives, Howard Eugene and Patricia Allio of Leeper, Wayne A. and Judi Allio of Salem, Ohio, Charles M. and Cathy Allio of Lucinda, Kenneth C. and Janet Allio of Commerce Township, Michigan, Robert D. and Debra of Pleasantville and Gary L. and Linda Allio of New Bethlehem; five daughters, Pauline and her husband, Glenn Vaughn, of Canton, Ohio, Joyce M. Allio of Leeper, Julia D. and her husband, Kenneth Russell, of Leeper, Mary C. and her husband, Larry Cable, of Myerstown, and Jane E. and her husband, Paul Detrie, of Lucinda. Also surviving are three brothers, Robert Gilmore of Lake Lucy, Charles Gilmore of Westfield, N.Y., and Allen Gilmore of East Brady; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ivan Gilmore; and two sisters, Mildred Carbaugh and Thelma Carbaugh.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Borland Funeral Home Inc. of Leeper.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Chris Kindle, pastor of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in Tylersburg Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Clarion-Forest Visiting Nurses Association.
