Smith, on 12 March 1866. Six more children were born to this second marriage: Jennie; Theodore; Emma; Rosa; Della; and Harry E.
Louis first married Ida Belle Overby 3 March 1883 in Greene County. They had a daughter, Mabel, who was only 14 months old when she died. Mother and daughter are buried in nearby Union Cemetery.
Later, Louis married Susan Burrill, daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Neighbors) Burrill, 28 February 1897 in Greene County. They had a baby daughter who only lived a few days and is buried here near them.
