Sarah Elizabeth Gillmore was born August 15, 1872 and died March March 5, 1944 at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 20 days. She was the daughter of Daniel D. and Lucy F. Stuart.
She was married to M. J. Keithley and after his death to J. W. Gilmore. Both preceded her in death. One brother and three sisters died before her. They were William R. Stuart, Mary E. Williams, Martha Kissee and Harriet Gladson. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Beeler of Kissee Mills and Daisy Bell Pinkston of Vallejo, California; also two brothers and one sister, Joseph J. Stuart of Neosho, Missouri, David F. Stuart of Kissee Mills and Nancy E. Haworth of Kirbyville, Missouri, two sons-in-law J. M. Beeler of Kissee Mills, and F. I. Pinkston of Vallejo, California, four grandsons, one granddaughter and twelve great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She united with General Baptist church early in life and remained faithful to the Christian religion all her life.
She was kind and loving mother and grandmother. Burial was in the Brown cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by Rev F. C. Zinn of Fredericktown, Missouri.
