Hold Services For Mrs. Gillen

BLOOMING GROVE, (Spl.)— Funeral service for Mrs. Bettie Elizabeth Gillen, 78. who was found dead in her home here Wednesday, were held on Thursday at 2 p. m. from the First Baptist church.

The rites were conducted by Rev. A. F. Sanders, pastor. Burial was in the Rose Hill cemetery.

Howe French, justice of the peace, returned a coroner's verdict of "death from natural causes."

Surviving are three sons, John Gillen Emhouse; J. H. Gillen, Mesquite, and J. D. Gillen. Ft Worth; a daughter, Mrs. Odessa Campbell, Houston; a sister Mrs. Sallie Woods, Blooming Grove; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and other relatives.

Pallbearers were E. D. Ingram, Ernest Martin, Bud Holditch, Ernest McGraw, Carroll Lee Saunders, and Jeff Harris.

McCormick Funeral Service directed.
