Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gilleland was born Nov. 28, 1936, in Gainesville, Texas. She lived in Gainesville, Texas, until she married Joe W. Gilleland on June 29, 1972, and they moved to Wichita Falls. She was employed by the law firm of Oldham and Hanson of Wichita Falls, Texas. Mrs. Gilleland was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a wonderful homemaker and an avid gardener. She loved her entire family very much and enjoyed nothing more than having family get-togethers at her home as well as driving to Gainesville, Texas to visit her brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Kay Moran and a son, Ricky Heineman.
Betty collected angels as a hobby and fell in love with every angel she saw. She is loved and will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
