Freida O. Anderson, age 90, of Davilla died Monday, May 12, 2008 in a local nursing home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 14, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. Burial will follow at Davilla Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Anderson was born March 25, 1918 in Davilla to Dan and Anna (Potter) Gilleland. She was a lifelong resident of Davilla and had sold Avon products for many years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernarr B. Easterwood. She married James P. Anderson on February 14, 1981. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Celia Betros. Survivors include her husband, James P. Anderson, three daughters, Mary Anderson of Robinson, Debbie Jones of Robinson and Andrea Carter of Waco. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Mary Leanna Hale of Robinson, Krista Batchko of Fort Drum, New York, Kaci Polta of Harker Heights, James Betros of Robinson and Amanda Wasylyzyn and 11 great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews which were like her own children.
