Betty J. Saverino, age 59, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2004. Betty is survived by her husband of 37 years, Everett Saverino of Albuquerque, son, Adam Saverino of Albuquerque, sisters, Dolores Lorenz and her husband, Tom of Kansas City, MO, Dorothy Kretzer of Gower, MO, Marjorie Mahlandt and her husband, Harry of Helena, MO, brother, Bill Giles and his wife, Joan of St. Joseph, MO, sister, Susie Stone and her husband, Ray of Reed Springs, MO, brothers, Jim Giles and his wife, Mary Kay of St. Joseph, MO and Richard Giles and his wife, Maureen of Ozark, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Saverino was active in scouting and assisting in many school activities. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America, Greater SW Council, 5841 Office Blvd. NE, 87109 or any organization for the benefit of children. Rosary will be recited on Friday, January 16, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd NE on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
