EAST WENATCHEE - Veda Grace Gamble, 73, East Wenatchee, died Saturday, July 23, 1994, in Central Washington Hospital, following an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 5, 1920, in Myron, Ark., to Bertha and Albert Gilbreth. The family moved to Monitor and the Cashmere areas when she was 14 years old. They moved to Wenatchee in 1941.
She married Perry Gamble on June 2, 1952, and made their home in East Wenatchee.
Mrs. Gamble was a volunteer in school activities and was involved in local and regional history.
Survivors include her husband, at the home; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (JoAnne) Mills, Alderwood Manor, and Mrs. Jim (Linda) Robins, East Wenatchee; two sisters, Ruby Armstrong, Olympia, and Faye Fletcher, East Wenatchee; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
