Funeral Conducted For Miss King Here
Funeral services for Miss Fannie King, longtime resident of Perry who died in Atlanta Friday night were held at the Gardner Watson funeral Home Sunday and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery
“Miss Fannie”, as she was affectionately known and her sister, “Miss Gussie” who died about nine months ago, were known and loved throughout the town, and their home on Swift Street is one of the old landmarks of Perry.
Mrs. Lucy Hill, another sister, died in Reynolds several weeks ago, and “Miss Fannie’s” death marked the passing of her generation of the family within less than a year. A brother, J. Henry King died in 1943
Survivors included two nieces, Mrs. S. R. Newton of Savannah and Mrs. J. Rich Carson of Reynolds.
