Friday, March 11, 1881
Mr. Augustus Giebner, one of the oldest settlers in Worth tp., and father of John J. and Samuel Giebner, died at his residence near Perrine's Corners, on last Friday, March 4th, after a long and painful illness, at the advanced age of 87 years. He was one of the first members of Fairview M. E. Church.

WILL OF AUGUSTUS GIEBNER
In the name of God, Amen, I Augustus Gibner of Worth township and County of Mercer and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of life do therefore make and ordain publish and declair this to be my last Will and Testament
1st All my just debts to be paid and discharged
2ly To my beloved wife Nancy three hundrd dollars in addition to her dowry to be paid to her at my disease Also a cow, house and buggy and sleigh and harness, and household furnature to dispose of as she sees fit also all the rights and privileges in my favor conditions in an article of agreement between me an Jacob Biseler in regard to the possession the house, stabl lot &c which I now occupy
Also all my monies and personal estate to be put into the hands of my executor in trust for the use of my wife during her life tim to be paid her in such sums as she may need, to be paid by the executor on orders on them as executors signed by John or Samuel Gibner and my wife Nancy or at the discretion of my executors.
3ly After my death it is my will that my daughters Peggy Jane and Mary be paid one hundrd dollars each
4th After the death of my wife my daughter Peggy Jane is to receve twelve hundrd dollars and my daughter Mary eight hundrd dollars Also to her daughter Sarah Anne three hundred dollars at age or marriage If she dies before the money is due her then her share goes back the estate
And that Harrison and Minnie May son & daughter of Westley Gibner my son have each one hundrd dollars at each, if one or either die there share reverts back to the estate
5th To my son Jon & Samuel the amount they already have recievd and there further rights in this testament
6 And to my son Stewert J. Gibner the amount of his receipt dated Feb 23 1875 which he has allredy recievd in full
7th Also a receipt of my daughter Peggy Jane intermarried with D. W. Henderson of three hundrd dollars to be deducted from her share of $1200, dated Feb 23 1875
8 Also a recept of my daughter Mary L. intermarried with Alexander Wright of three hundrd doll dated Feb 23 1875 and to be deducted from her share of $800
9th It is my will and direction that all monies that I have authorized to be paid out at or near the time of my disease is to be deducted out of my estate prior to its being put in the hands of my executor for the use and mentaince of my wife during her life time
10th As regards my son Stewert J my executors are hereby authorized on the presentation of recepts signed by John and Samuel Gibner; as soon as they collect the amount of money necessary; shall pay to them for the use of said Stewert J which sums shall not exceed ten hundred and twenty five doll ($1025) or the executors may on recept of said Stewart J pay, in case of necessity, for his use, not over said amount
11th My executors are hereby authorized to put up a monument for the use of myself, wife & family not to exceed the amount of two hundred dollars
12 The ballence of my estate after the disease of my wife Nancy is that my estate be equally divided between my son Stewert J his rights shall be contingent to his wants and necessities as specified in item No. 10
Item 13th In case there should be more or less monies than sufficient to pay all divised amounts, in that case each shall recieve in proportions as divised in this will
Item 14 I hereby appoint James W McDowell and Samuel Coleman my executors to carry out the intentions of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribe my name and affixed my name and seal this 12th day of Febry in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundrd and seventy eight
