Mrs. Brannon was a school teacher, having taught 32 years before retiring. She taught in Woolco (near Avant), Deer Creek, Edmond, Okmulgee and retired while teaching in Preston. She was a member of Butler Memorial Methodist Church, Oklahoma retired Teacher’s Association, OEA, and formerly a Pony Girl. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donnie Gideon.
