She was the wife of Robert K. Gibson, to whom she married at Ft. Madison, Iowa, Nov. 10, 1939. Her husband has been head waiter at the Creve Coeur Club for about 30 years.
Mrs. Gibson was born at Springfield, Aug. 1, 1899, a daughter of Samuel and Emma Nelson.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Maxine Ross, Mrs. Betty June Nesbitt and Mrs. Margie Williamson, all of Chicago; five sons, Jack Allen Gibson of Covington, Tenn., Leland Jordan of Elgin, Lyle Jordan of Bloomington and Willis Jordan and Edwin Jordan, both of Peoria; and one sister, Mrs. Arminta Turner of Chicago.
