Funeral services for Mrs. Audrey Overstreet Gibson, 63, of the Southport Community, were held this morning at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home, with Ewing Neelley and Rev. Finis Walker officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Gibson died Saturday as a result of injuries, received in a traffic accident on Campbellsville Pike that afternoon. A native of Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Rita Hubbell Overstreet, and the wife of Adolphus Gibson, who survives. She was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Edna Ree) Vick Jr. of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Charlie (Alta) Gibson of the Yokley Community and Mrs. Imogene Tate of Columbia; three brothers, Melvin Overstreet Jr. of Orlando, Fla., Myron Overstreet of Columbia and William Robert 'Billy' Overstreet of Nashville; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were nephews Jimmy Overstreet, Jim Overstreet, Jerry Overstreet, Joe Overstreet, Donnie Overstreet, Dennis Overstreet, Roger Overstreet, Michael Overstreet, Phil Tate, Jack Gibson, Terry Gibson and Ronnie Gibson.
