Ft. Madison - Ethel Lorraine Gelsthorpe, 77, of 1523 Ave. H, died at 7:33 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18 at Ft. Madison Community Hospital.
She was born Sept 13, 1904 in Fulton County, MO. She married George E. Gelsthorpe Sept. 8, 1924 at Ft. Madison
She was a membe of the Nazarene Church, VFW Auxiliary and U.S. Army Mothers.
Surviving: three sons, Floyd, Los Angeles, Calif., James and Stanley, both of Ft. Madison; one daughter, Mrs. Artell Hull, Denmark; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Barr Memorial Chapel; Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
