Alfred A. Gibbs of Southampton died Mon Nov 11, 2002 at Virtua Health and Rehab Center in Lumberton. He was 81.
Born in Masonville, NJ, Mr. Gibbs resided in the house on Fostertown Rd where he was born for 79 years, and recently moved to Southampton. He was a machinist at Nichol's Products in Moorestown for many years and a custodian at Shawnee HS and a Lenape District bus driver for 13 years. He was a member of Easton Union Church Hainesport, where he attended regularly for 77 years.
Beloved husband of Virginia Gibbs (nee Wells), he is survived by a niece Joyce Grovatt Barrett; a great-nephew and wife, Albert and Sandy Barrett; a great niece and husband Helen and Scott Caserio; a stepson and wife Kelly and Marilyn Sutphin; stepdaughter and husband, Virginia and Logan MacFarland; six stepgrandsons: Bob, Dave and Joe MacFarland, Bill, Brian and Jeff Sutphin; one great grandson Andrew MacFarland.
Funeral servies will be held Thur 11am at Easton Union Church. Interment will be in Easton Union Cemetery. Friends may call Thur 10-11am at the church.
