Wife of Godfrey Getsinger Had
Been Ill Two Years
Mrs. Anna Mahler Getsinger, 62, wife of Godfrey Getsinger of 14 Washington Street, died shortly after noon today following an illness of two years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the Free Methodist Church with Rev. George Skinner officiating. Burial will be in Cortland Rural Cemetery. Friends may call at the home after Tuesday noon.
Mrs. Getsinger was born at Webster, N.Y., December 17, 1874, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Mahler. She was married to Mr. Getsinger 41 years ago. They moved to McGraw 21 years ago, a year later coming to Cortland to live.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Miss Gertrude Getsinger of Cortland.
