Shirley Gerber, 65, of Kirksville, passed away early Friday morning, January 26, 2007. Shirley was born May 27, 1941, to Marion George Albert and Gladys Irene (Helm) Bolton.
On January 16, 1962, she married Maynard "Wesley" Gerber and to this union 4 children were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1977 and her parents. Survivors include three sons, Michael Gerber, John Gerber, and Donald Gerber; a daughter Carla Carvitto; three sisters Mary Andes, Della Fay Briggs, and Irene Ingersoll; and 14 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday, February 9, 2007, at the Mound Grove Cemetery.

Shirley's Father, Marion George Albert Bolton was born July 5, 1912 in Gage, Ellis County, Oklahoma, and died July 17, 2002 in the White Ridge Health Care Center, Lees Summit, Jackson County, Missouri. His usual residence was Independence, Missouri. He was the son of Jessie Francis Bolton (1867-1944) who was born in Illinois and died in Rogers County, Oklahoma; and Orpha Eliza (Sutherland) Bolton (1875-1948) who was born in Kansas, and died in Rogers County, Oklahoma.
